Where to Buy Travis Scott’s New Air Jordan 6 Collab

Image
It’s been a while since Travis Scott and Jordan Brand brought one of their sneaker collaborations to retail, but that will change this week. This Friday, April 30, the Houston rapper will once again link with the brand to deliver a new collection featuring the “British Khaki” Air Jordan 6 on his 29th birthday, after earlier reimagining the model in October 2019. The Air Jordan 6 debuted in 1991 as a performance basketball shoe for NBA legend Michael Jordan but since his retirement, it has become one of the brand’s most popular lifestyle offerings. In addition to the collaborative sneakers, the capsule includes matching apparel consisting of co-branded shirts, a vest, a hoodie, shorts, and pants. Ahead of its April 30 launch, retailers across the globe have begun announcing their own release procedures of the latest Travis Scott x Air Jordan collection in addition to it being available on the SNKRS app. While the list below is helpful in navigating the launch, it’s still recommended tha

'Stage Haze' Air Jordan 1 High Is Reportedly Releasing in May

Image
There’s seemingly no end in sight for Air Jordan 1 releases with the “Heritage” and the “Rebellionaire” already rumored to drop in 2022, just to name a few. Now, there appears to be another new colorway reportedly on the schedule for next year’s lineup. According to @zSneakerheadz, the Air Jordan 1 High “Stage Haze” colorway is on the way. Based on the mockup image from the account, the forthcoming pair resembles the baseball-inspired “Baron” Jordan 1 from 2014 with the classic “Black Toe” blocking on the upper along with coral accents appearing on the tongue tag. Completing the look is a standard white midsole and a solid grey outsole. Per @zSneakerheadz, the “Stage Haze” Air Jordan 1 High will reportedly hit shelves on May 14, 2022, for $170. Check back soon to Sole Collector for updates. UPDATE (12/30): Thanks to @Sneakertigger on Instagram, we now have a first look at the forthcoming “Stage Haze” Air Jordan 1 High, a new colorway of the shoe that’s set to hit shelves on May 14, 202

Official Images of the Air Jordan 1 "Dark Marina Blue"

On December 20, 2021, Jordan Brand officially announced its Spring 2022 Retro Collection, and one of the standouts from the news was the Air Jordan 1 “Dark Marina Blue” colorway — one of the newest iterations to be added to MJ’s first signature shoe arsenal. The makeup has already been previewed by many a sneaker leaker since last Fall, but now Nike has finally released the kicks’ official images. From a presentation standpoint, the shoes mimic the same color-blocking cadence as the Air Jordan 1 “Pollen” that was rolled out in the Fall season of 2021, but of course makes use of its titular hue as the main focus. “Dark Marina Blue” falls onto the smooth leather overlays, Swooshes and ankle flaps, as well as the laces and tongue banners. To offset this tone, Jordan Brand tosses black paint onto the toe boxes, quarter panels, collars and nylon tongues. Branding is visible via the traditional ball-and-wings insignias and Nike Air tongue hits, the former of which is coated in black while th

Michael Jordan’s PE Air Jordan 1s From 1985 Are Up for Sale

Image
It’s not every day that an original Air Jordan 1 from 1985 is available for sale, but it’s even rarer when that shoe was created for Michael Jordan himself. That’s exactly what happened today when longtime eBay seller and sneaker collector Patrick Ryan relinquished his original player sample Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” from 1985 in deadstock condition to sell on the e-commerce platform. This pair was initially created for MJ to wear during the 1985-86 NBA season, but he never got a chance to lace them up after breaking his foot in October 1985. When MJ was ready to hit the court again that season, Nike created a custom version of the shoe for him that featured an additional ankle strap for support. The listed shoe comes in Jordan’s famous mismatched sizes with the left shoe in a size 13 and the right pair in a size 13.5. In addition, the right shoe’s ankle collar has also been autographed by MJ. This listing was created in conjunction with eBay’s new 3D true view technology, which allows sh

This Air Jordan 1 Low Looks More Like A Toy Than A Sneaker

Though it may not exactly feel like it, warmer weather is just around the corner. And once the temperature finally gets above 50 degrees, Jordan Brand will be more than prepared, as they’ve revealed a handful of Air Jordan 1 Lows in the month of January alone. For the first day of February — and Lunar New Year — yet another colorway has stepped onto the stage, this pair flaunting what looks like a toy-inspired make-up. To compare the shoe to a doll would be most accurate, its counter and forefoot panel stitched similar to one handmade. Between, a textile that wouldn’t be out of place on a Raggedy Ann outfits the Swoosh and collar, wrapping both in a nepped, purple-colored fabric. White leathers and matching midsoles/tongues, then, build out the rest of the upper, balancing out the aforementioned as well as the letter charm dubrae. For a closer look at this upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low, check out the official images below. Sizes are likely to loud up on Nike.com and select retailers within

Ducks Receive Oregon Jordan Viii Pe

When Tinker Hatfield is working on the design of a new limited edition shoe for Oregon student-athletes, he'll sometimes run his ideas by a younger colleague. Hatfield, Nike's Vice President for Design and Special Projects, is himself a former UO student-athlete. Given that his time competing for the Ducks in track and field was almost 50 years ago, he appreciates the perspective of others, such as former UO football players Brandon McLemore and Garren Strong. Recently Hatfield asked McLemore, a defensive back for the Ducks in the late Nineties, for his thoughts on a special edition of the Air Jordan VIII that Hatfield had mocked up for the UO football team. McLemore's response: "This is fire." "They think it's really strong," Hatfield said. "So it's a really good indicator that this will be not just another limited edition Oregon Jordan, but maybe one of the better ones we've ever done." That would be a remarkable development giv
